This device utilises a countup counter which is useful in nondestruct limit testing. The counter can be present to the number of test cycles desired and the tester will automatically stop when the counter equals zero or when the lead under test breaks.
Weights are available in many sizes and configurations. The weights incorporate a spring clamp to grip the package lead. A thumbscrew is provided on the arm of the weight to adjust the clamping pressure. The holding fixture is designed to be off-axis with the motor shaft so that weight “bobbing” will be kept to a minimum during cycling.
